This is 1 of the best known Scottish Views of Castle Stalker.
I always wondered why it was called Castle Stalker, and not Stalker Castle, like most castles?
It is probably a very over-photographed castle, and maybe ironically appears at the end of Monty Python and The Holy Grail, called "The Castle of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh".
Castle Stalker is located in Loch Laich, a small inlet on Loch Linnhe, beside Portnacroish. Built in The 14th century.
The late afternoon winter sun helped to highlight the mountains behind with a classic Scottish cinnamon and icing sugar dusting effect, and because of this, the bird circling over the castle, was luckily silhouetted against the background.
The first image is a 16x9 frame size ratio ( like a computer screen shape ) the second image is 3x2 frame size ratio, and can be used for most picture frames, including all "A SIZE" frames. The price shown is for a 3 feet/ 90cm gloss or satin print, protected in tissue paper and sent in a solid cardboard tube, and includes UK delivery and VAT.
