Scottish Views can be breathtaking at first light. The link above shows the image winning the headline picture for The STV Winterlight Competition.

This is a view of the remnants of The Ancient Caledonian Pine Forest, about 2 miles south of Crianlarich.

The picture was taken not far from the A82, just as the sun was coming over the mountains. I`ve passed this location hundreds of time during my journeys throughout Scotland, as this is the main route north from Loch Lomond, but on this morning, with the sunrise squeezing through the clouds and lighting the valley, there was an unusual peace and tranquility in the cold morning silence.

The first image is a 16x9 frame size ratio (like a computer or modern TV screen shape) the second image is 3x2 frame size ratio, and can be used for most picture frames, including all "A SIZE" frames. The price shown is for a 3 feet/90cm gloss or satin print, protected in tissue paper and sent in a solid cardboard tube, and includes UK delivery and VAT.
