Seilebost is 1 of the most beautiful beaches in The Outer Hebrides .
Most people who see this view , don`t believe it`s in Scotland .
The pure white sand , and the clear turquoise water , are more typical of The Caribbean .
It continues along from Luskentyre Beach , another spectacular beach , just round the far corner to the left in the distance .
The houses on the far coast are part of the village of Luskentyre .
It is most dramatic when the tide is out , and has just turned to come back in . I have visited this area 4 times in the last 4 years , and every year there has been bright sunshine . Many people have stopped at this view and taken this photograph .This year , I wanted to get a shot without the grass in the foreground , so I climbed over the fence to get further down the cliff . It is so steep that you can`t make your way down on your feet , so I surfed very slowly down it , lying on my front . I knew it was a bit dodgy , but I didn`t factor in the amount of sheep poo on the slope when I decided to go for it . However , it all washed out my clothes later , so no permanent damage was done , although I did get some funny looks from people back at the layby .
